John Czerwionka is a Regional Director within the nonprofit Outsourced Chief Investment (OCIO) practice of Northern Trust. John partners with foundations and endowments on asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment policy development. He is responsible for client development and his process includes a re-optimization of budgets for fees, risk and illiquidity. Prior to his current role, he marketed the firm’s proprietary strategies to a broad range of financial intermediaries and advisory firms. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he studied Economics and Political Science, and has an MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Economics. John holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and serves as a Chapter Executive for the Bay Area Chapter of the CAIA Association.
