Bob is a financial advisor at Savant Wealth Management and has over 35 years of experience in investment management. He has held many leadership roles, including Director of Investment Advisory, Market Investment Executive, and Senior

Portfolio Manager at both BMO Harris Bank and Bank of America. He also spent over twelve years as part of a management team working directly with pension funds, investment banks, hedge funds and other institutional investors while at a financial subsidiary of Cargill, Inc. During that time, he was involved in the development and administration of both private and public offerings in multi-asset class funds.

Bob currently serves on the Finance and Investment Committees of both the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Chicago Zoological Society (Brookfield Zoo). He is an advocate for Impact investing and is actively involved in several organizations focused on Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) and Socially Responsible Investing (SRI). He is also active in Chicago’s start-up community as a mentor/advisor, and a member of the Chicago Booth Angel Network (CBAN- Chicago).

He was also the co-founder and General Manager of Beltech, Inc., an advance battery material start-up. In addition to overseeing their operations, he was responsible for client and investor relations.

Bob earned his MBA from the University of Chicago-Booth focusing on Finance

Statistics and Business Policy, and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and has been an active member of the CFA Society of Chicago, serving on past committees and as an instructor.
