Steve Swanson is the Executive Director for the Park Employees' Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago (PEABF). The PEABF is a single employer, defined benefit plan covering the eligible public employees of the Chicago Park District. The PEABF has total fund membership of 10,878 and approximately $350m AUM.\nSteve’s prior position was the Executive Director for the Firemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago (FABF) which is a defined-benefit, single-employer pension plan that provides benefits to the firefighters and paramedics of the City of Chicago. The FABF has over 9,000 participating members and approximately $900m AUM.

Prior to joining the FABF, he worked for the City of Chicago, where he had been the Director of Finance for the Chicago Fire Department.
